Initiated in the eighties and incorporated in 1992, Just Decks Inc. arose from the vision of owner – architect, Marek Wicik as a way to bring design creativity and sound architectural practices within a company dedicated solely to the design and construction of decks.
Since inception, Just Decks Inc. has built an impressive number of quality installations throughout Chicago, first from offices in the River North Area and for the last thirty years from the Lincoln Park head quarters located at 1639 N. Clybourn Ave
Specializing in custom designed roof decks, garage decks, rear yard decks, pergolas, porches and patios, the staff brings to bear years of both architectural design and construction experience to ensure your project will be gorgeous and the process streamlined.
A Chicago native, Mr. Wicik was raised in Wicker Park, where he still resides today. A proud graduate of Lane Tech High, he received his architecture degree at UICC and obtained his architect’s license from the State of Illinois.
After years gaining invaluable experience working for top notch architectural offices, he started his own residential design build firm, Architrade Construction Inc.
which over the years has been responsible for numerous projects including luxury home construction throughout Lincoln Park and surrounding areas.
